A few questions
|
Most amazing sailing experience: Jet and I have had some smaller sailing boats when we where younger. One of them was a Leuke Tea. In winter time, when the Aagtje went to Kolhorn, the Leuke Tea would be next to her. MY most amazing sailing experience would have been in this small boat, sailing the Canal after a night of frost. Slowly the thin ice would splinter all around the boat, amazing!
Most amazing Tecla experience: Even though the Tecla has a draught of 2.70 m and has a low sail plan, she keeps her head high even when there is hardly any water. Last spring we went to Terschelling and had to tack our way through the Meep (a narrow part of the Waddenzee) against the current. There where a few other (flat bottomed) vessels tacking their way up to Terschelling. Under full sail with our handicaps, the Tecla kept up with the rest and we had a wonderful sailing day. |
